Nicholson, Sir Sydney

Nicholson, Sir Sydney
(9 February 1875, London – 30 May 1947, Ashford, Kent)
   Organist of Westminster Abbey who left in 1928 to found the School of English Church Music, later called the Royal School of Church Music, where organists, choirmasters, and clergy might study to improve the standards of parish music.
